Why You'll Love It
All the charm of sweet peas without the trellis. Sweet Pea Bijou Mix is a compact, dwarf variety, producing masses of large, ruffled blooms in white, rose, pink, scarlet, and lavender on a neat, self-supporting plant. The fragrance is classic sweet pea, rich and sweet, carrying beautifully through the garden and even better cut for a vase indoors.
Growing to only around 25cm tall, it's a natural fit for borders, pots, containers and small garden spaces, and flowers over a long season from late spring through summer. It prefers full sun and a rich, moist, well-drained soil, and does best in cooler conditions, often slowing in peak summer heat before picking back up as temperatures ease. Deadhead regularly to keep the blooms coming. A favourite with bees and butterflies.
Caution: This mix is intended for ornamental use only. All parts of the Sweet Pea plant (Lathyrus odoratus), including the seeds, are toxic if ingested. Please keep away from pets and children. The buyer assumes full responsibility for the safe use and placement of this product.
