Description
This wildflower seeds mixture is specially designed to help look after our bees, the ecosystem - and us! This blend of bee-attracting wildflowers provides essential nutrition to our busy bees, fuelling them to pollinate our food crops and plants.
Did you know that around one-third of the food that we consume each day relies on pollination mainly by bees?
Containing 17 species of annual flowers, your bee-friendly wildflower seeds can be sown in planters, along walls, in front gardens and in whole fields.
A few annuals to name are Wild Bergamot, California Poppy and Menzies' Baby Blue Eyes.
Follow the advice given on our How To Sow page to get the best results - a glorious flowering show from early Summer to Autumn.
For areas with full sun and good soil, 2 grams per square meter, or 3 grams for a denser flowering, is ideal. For areas larger than 500 square meters, aim for between 2-4 grams per square meter, but do not exceed the recommended amount.
Keep in mind, more seeds do not equal more flowers; instead, they will compete with each other, resulting in lesser species growth.
