Billy Button is a quirky perennial, also known as the “Drumstick”, wonderful for attracting bees and butterflies.

Description

Billy Button’s unique golden globes on tall and stout stalk flower from Spring to Summer.

The blooms are superb as a meadow flower, cut flowers and for drying. Drought tolerant but best on moist and well-drained soil, in sun to part shade.

Frost hardy, Billy Button is low maintenance and can be used in Coastal gardens, Courtyards, Container growing, Cottage gardens, Flower gardens, Cold climates and in heavy soils. Will grow to around 90cm. Can be grown in clay, loamy, sandy loam, clay loam, and potting mix.
