Product Description
If you are looking to create the most untouched of flower meadows, Nature's Monet Meadows is the mix for you.
One of our most popular wildflower seed mixes, this blend aims to look like a true natural flower field meadow with no disturbance from mankind.
The mix is made up of 7 annual plants (such as English Daisy and Dame's Rocket) which will bring forward the first colour notes as early as October. It also contains a wide variety of 20 perennial plants (such as Purple Cornflower, Blanketflower and Sweet Pea) which will bloom after this and in the following years, creating a very established meadow.
To ensure its durability, Nature's Monet Meadows flower mixture must be cut back in April the first year, then in March the following years.
If you've ever dreamt of creating your very own field of wildflowers, this is the pick for you.
Follow the advice given on our How To Sow page to get the best results - a glorious flowering show from early Summer to Autumn.
Check out our WA-accepted version of this mix here.
For areas with full sun and good soil, 2 grams per square meter, or 3 grams for a denser flowering, is ideal. For areas larger than 500 square meters, aim for between 2-4 grams per square meter, but do not exceed the recommended amount.
Keep in mind, more seeds do not equal more flowers; instead, they will compete with each other, resulting in lesser species growth.
