Wildflower Key to Success Seed Mix is a versatile wildflower seed mix made up of varieties of rustic, cottage wildflowers, capable of handling demanding soil & positions.
Description
It is a dwarf seed blend of flowers that will grow no higher than 40cm, making it a perfect choice for pots and planters. It has been specially developed to bloom in difficult places such as at the feet of trees, along walls, in central road islands and within shaded areas. It can also be planted on a large scale to bring colour to fields and meadows.
This hardy and strong seed mix is composed of annual plants (such as Bachelor Button, Rose Balsam and Sweet Alysum) & perennial plants (such as Basket of Gold, Creeping Daisy, Cosmic Orange and Blanket Flower).
For sunny areas with good soil, use 2 grams of seed per square metre or 3 grams for a denser display. For larger spaces (over 500 square metres), stick to 2-4 grams per square metre, ensuring you don’t exceed this. Adding more seeds than recommended can cause overcrowding, limiting the growth of some species instead of creating more flowers.
One gram of wildflower seed mix contains approximately 700 to 800 seeds, depending on the mix.
Please note: Photos are for illustration purposes only. Species included may vary based on season and availability.
