Why You'll Love It
A garden favourite for good reason, Snapdragon Giant Tetra Mix produces tall, slightly-scented sturdy spikes packed with large, ruffled blooms in a vibrant bi-colour mix of pink, red, yellow, purple and white. The bigger, showier flowers and contrasting throats set this mix apart from standard snapdragons.
Growing up to 90cm tall, it's a strong choice for borders, cottage gardens or cut-flower patches, with a long vase life. It thrives in cooler conditions, tolerates light frost, and prefers a full sun position in well-drained soil. The tall stems may need some support in exposed spots. Flowers also attract bees and butterflies.
Grown as an annual in most areas, though it can behave as a short-lived perennial in milder climates and will often self-seed.
