Beneficial Insect Seed Mix
Beneficial Insect Seed Mix
For the ultimate eco-friendly and biodiverse garden this wildflower seeds mix is specifically designed to attract insects that will attack unwanted pests.
Description
This beneficial insect
wildflower seeds mix is ideal for planting alongside vineyards and fruit/vegetable patches, as it helps beneficial insects find food and shelter near plants that need their protection. This mix also improves the soil. What better addition to your garden than this mix?
This integrated pest management (IPM) flower mix comprises 5 annuals (such as Alyssum, Coriander, Baby Blue Eyes and Dill), 11 perennials (such as Lemon Beebalm, Rock Cress and Blanket Flower) and 1 biennial (Queen Anne’s Lace).
This garden seed mix can be sown anytime - avoiding frosts!
For sunny areas with good soil, use 2 grams of seed per square metre or 3 grams for a denser display. For larger spaces (over 500 square metres), stick to 2-4 grams per square metre, ensuring you don’t exceed this. Adding more seeds than recommended can cause overcrowding, limiting the growth of some species instead of creating more flowers.
One gram of wildflower seed mix contains approximately 700 to 800 seeds, depending on the mix.
Please note: Photos are for illustration purposes only. Species included may vary based on season and availability.
