Description

Flowers for Wetlands Seed Mix is a medium-height, annual and perennial mix specifically designed for wetlands and cool spots. Best suited for retention ponds, brighten up your property with this cost-effective wildflower mixture.

To help this seed mixture establish itself and bind to the soil, you have the option to combine it with grasses and legumes as well.

Containing annuals (such as Starflower, Rose Mallow and Mallow) and perennials (such as Eastern Catmint, Purple Loosetrife and Sneezewort).

For sunny areas with good soil, use 2 grams of seed per square metre or 3 grams for a denser display. For larger spaces (over 500 square metres), stick to 2-4 grams per square metre, ensuring you don’t exceed this. Adding more seeds than recommended can cause overcrowding, limiting the growth of some species instead of creating more flowers.

One gram of wildflower seed mix contains approximately 700 to 800 seeds, depending on the mix.
