Hampton Court Seed Mix
Hampton Court Seed Mix
The Hampton Court wildflower seed mix is a beautiful, quintessential combination of over 10 wild meadow flower species.
Description
This wildflower seed mixture is made up of lower-growing species, making it the perfect choice for containers and pots. Suggested areas to sow this mix are locations that are more exposed like large fields, where you can create your own wildflower meadow.
It's a fantastically rich blend of colours and species that will flower for up to 7 months if sowed in early Spring.
This seed mix includes over 8 annual plants, such as Common Poppy, Electra, Fairy Bouquet and Bright Eyes. The result will be a beautiful, rich, multi-coloured field of mixed heights and flowers.
For sunny areas with good soil, use 2 grams of seed per square metre or 3 grams for a denser display. For larger spaces (over 500 square metres), stick to 2-4 grams per square metre, ensuring you don’t exceed this. Adding more seeds than recommended can cause overcrowding, limiting the growth of some species instead of creating more flowers.
One gram of wildflower seed mix contains approximately 700 to 800 seeds, depending on the mix.
Please note: Photos are for illustration purposes only. Species included may vary based on season and availability.
