Description
This wildflower mixture is made up of lower-growing species, making it the perfect choice for containers and pots. Suggested areas to sow this mix are locations that are more exposed like large fields, where you can create your own wildflower meadow.
It's a fantastically rich blend of colours and species that will flower for up to 7 months if sowed in early Spring.
This mix includes over 8 annual plants, such as Common Poppy, Electra, Fairy Bouquet and Bright Eyes. The result will be a beautiful, rich, multi-coloured field of mixed heights and flowers.
Follow the advice given on our How To Sow page to get the best results - a glorious flowering show from early Summer to Autumn.
For areas with full sun and good soil, 2 grams per square meter, or 3 grams for a denser flowering, is ideal. For areas larger than 500 square meters, aim for between 2-4 grams per square meter, but do not exceed the recommended amount.
Keep in mind, more seeds do not equal more flowers; instead, they will compete with each other, resulting in lesser species growth.
