Why You'll Love It
Organic Peach Melba Superior produces unique cream-yellow blooms with red dots in the throat, held in neat, compact clusters above the foliage for maximum impact. Its dwarf, uniform, non-trailing habit makes it one of the tidiest nasturtiums around, growing to a compact 30cm, perfect for pots, containers, edging and small garden spaces.
Easy to grow and genuinely low maintenance, it thrives in full sun and poor, well-drained soil; in fact, rich soil can mean more leaves and fewer flowers. It flowers from summer through to the first frosts and is a favourite with bees.
Both the flowers and leaves are edible, with a peppery, watercress-like flavour that's perfect scattered through salads or used as a garnish. It's also a handy companion plant near the vegetable patch, often used to attract beneficial insects and help draw pest pressure away from nearby crops.
