Why You'll Love It

A true heirloom classic, Zinnia Eldorado brings large, rounded, fully double blooms in a warm salmon-apricot shade, with neatly overlapping petals giving each flower a dahlia-like fullness. Held on long, sturdy stems above lance-shaped foliage, the blooms reach an impressive 7 to 10cm across, making a real statement wherever they're planted.

Forming a dense, upright plant around 80cm tall, it's an excellent choice for the back of sunny borders, beds and large containers, and a standout in the cutting garden thanks to its long stems and long vase life. Extremely easy to grow, it thrives in full sun and prefers fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soil.

Blooming profusely from early summer right through to the first frosts, the more you pick, the more it flowers. Its colourful, nectar-rich blooms are also a magnet for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
